Scans per placement
Know which poster, slide or card gets scanned, not just that a code was scanned.
Mitr's QR code tracker counts every scan per placement, with timing and rough location, and no cookies. Print a code on a poster, a slide or a card, then see which one works.
Sample campaign: "Demo day 2026". Switch the measure to compare.
Sample numbers for illustration. Your own numbers appear in your dashboard.
Know which poster, slide or card gets scanned, not just that a code was scanned.
Repeat scans from the same phone in a short window count once, so a crowd of re-scans doesn't inflate the numbers.
Scans by hour and day, so you can tell a demo-day spike from a steady trickle.
City and country for each scan. No IP addresses are kept, and no cookie is set.
Phone or desktop, operating system and browser, so you know what your audience scans with.
If you collect contact details through the form, each lead is tied to its campaign and placement.
Connect Claude, Gemini or Cursor to Mitr with an API key, then ask for a campaign, a new placement, or an archived campaign in plain English. Each change is a permission you tick on the key, and deletes need one more. Read how it works in the MCP guide, or the guide to tracking scans per placement.
Give it a name and the page you want scanners to reach.
A poster, a slide and a visiting card each get their own code and their own count.
Each code is a short link, so it keeps working on print, on a screen or in a WhatsApp image.
Scans, unique scans and timing per placement, updated as people scan.
A QR code tracker records every scan of a QR code and reports it back to you: how many scans, from which placement, when, and roughly from where. Mitr's QR code tracker does this without cookies and without keeping IP addresses.
Yes. Each QR code is a placement, so a poster, a deck slide and a visiting card each get their own count. You can see which one people scan.
Yes. The free plan includes one active QR campaign with up to three codes, and records scans for 30 days. Paid plans allow more campaigns, more codes and longer scan history.
No. Redirects don't depend on your plan, so a printed code keeps sending people to its destination. What changes is how much scan history is kept and how many campaigns you can create.
Scanners land on the destination you chose. Mitr records the scan itself: the time, a coarse location and the device type. It does not set a cookie or identify the person.
Yes, with an API key that has the Can manage QR campaigns permission. The assistant can create a campaign, add codes per placement, and archive a campaign. Deleting needs a separate permission.
Yes. The live demo makes a real QR code that lasts 30 minutes, lets you scan it with your phone and shows what Mitr recorded.
Free plan, no card. See a real scan in the live demo first.
