Questions
Is this a real QR code?
Yes. It is the same kind of code you would print for a flyer or a shop counter, with the same short link, the same hosted form and the same scan recording. Only the 30-minute lifetime is specific to the demo.
What does Mitr store when I scan?
The time, a coarse location (city and country), and the device type, operating system and browser. Not your IP address, no cookie, and nothing that identifies you. If you fill in the form, your email and message are kept only so they can appear on this screen.
Who can see my email and message?
Only this page, which holds a secret that only it knows. They are not sent to anyone, not added to a mailing list, and are deleted within 30 minutes, or immediately if you press Delete.
I'm on my phone. How do I scan?
A phone can't scan its own screen. Use the link under the code to open the form on the same device. It is recorded exactly like a scan.
