QR Campaigns
A QR campaign is a short link you can print or put on a slide. Each QR code is a placement β a poster, a deck slide, a visiting card β so you can see which placement actually gets scanned. Scans are counted per placement, and the destination you choose gets UTM tags added automatically.
What a campaign does
- One destination, many placements β every code in a campaign sends visitors to the same page, and each one is counted separately.
- UTM tags on the destination β
utm_source=qr,utm_medium=offline, the campaign name asutm_campaign, and the placement asutm_content, so the same numbers show up in your analytics. - Lead capture (optional) β a campaign can collect a name, email or phone with explicit consent on the form. Each lead is stored against its campaign and placement. An optional WhatsApp opt-in is captured only if the visitor ticks it.
- Export β leads can be exported as a CSV from the dashboard.
Limits by plan
The free plan includes one active campaign with up to three codes in it. Paid plans allow up to 50 active campaigns, each with up to 200 codes. See the pricing page for the current event, site and retention limits on each plan.
Setting one up
- In the dashboard, open QR Campaigns β New campaign and give it a name and a destination URL.
- Add a code for each placement and label it, for example Demo day poster or Pitch deck slide 12.
- Download the code image and print it at the size you need. Test a scan on a phone before you print a batch.
- Check scans per placement on the campaign page after a few days, and move your effort to the placement that works.
From an AI assistant
With the Mitr MCP server, Claude or Gemini can create a campaign, add a code per placement, rename a campaign or archive it. Give the key only the "Can manage QR campaigns" permission. Deleting needs a separate permission, and the assistant can't read visitor details or lead contact information.
Privacy
A scan is recorded as an anonymous count, with no cookie and no client-side storage. Lead details are only collected from people who fill in the form and tick the consent box, and they are stored in your workspace. Mitr doesn't contact your leads on your behalf.
